A heart is a heavyweight earthquake of will
A purse is an identity carrier of tools
A plant is a rooted reacher friend

Poem written in response to poet Shira Erlichman’s genius line - a rose by any other name is still a flock of blades, from her poetry book, ODES TO LITHIUM)
Have a lovely Tuesday,
Tuesday is a 24 hour cycle, 1/7 of a week, 1/52 of all Tuesdays per year, a sliver of time when 8.3 billion human hearts beat 100,800 times each, or 836,640,000,000 times, in a mysterious chorus that will never repeat in the same way again.
And that doesn’t even account for the beats and breaths of the non-human animals, trees, plants, flowers, crops, roots, gusts of wind, & maybe even angels, fairies, ghosts, god.
In awe,
Melanie Zoey
